WATCH OUT

Stop press warnings from our local Police

Community Safety and Policing

An important issue for us all and we are very pleased to be able to co-operate with our local Police Community Safety Unit to keep you up to date.

Join ECOPS, if you want to keep intouch with the local crime scene and more importantly what the police are doing about it, you can do no better than to sign up with this new initiative from Cambs Constabulary - https:/www.cambs-police.co.uk or click on the logo.

Crimestoppers – did you know that?
Crimestoppers is an independent UK-wide charity working to stop crime.
Crimestoppers works for you, your family and your community.
Callers to the 0800 555 111 number can give information about crime and criminals; nothing about the call is traced, nothing is recorded about the caller. The information is passed to the police who may still be able to act. Often this may be the initial call to an investigation or the missing piece of the jigsaw that helps police solve a crime. Last year over 4,000 people called with actionable information in the east region, a tremendous response from the public.
Across Cambridgeshire in January information from Crimestoppers calls have resulted in nine arrests, recovering £1600 of stolen goods and £48,000 worth of illegal drugs the best results in the Eastern region.
Call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 – tell them what you know, not who you are - crimestoppers-uk.org
