Werrington Brook Project – Paths update

The Werrington Brook Project Team are conscious that the repairs to the paths following the improvement works are still outstanding so I would like to update residents on the current situation. We are employing the services of Peterborough City Council’s (PCC) highways contractors’ Skanska to undertake the repairs. PCC and the Environment Agency (EA) met on site on the 10th August to agree on works that were required. All works will meet PCC standards and will address all areas that have been affected by the brook improvement project.

Please be aware there will be sections of path in the area with cracks not caused by the project work that won’t be addressed. PCC is aware of the condition of the paths and these are in a programme for repair.

I apologise for the delay in getting the repairs done but I would like to reassure residents that the work will be carried out at the earliest opportunity.
